Moratorium Update
We began releasing 5 new meters each month starting in September 2023 and have been monitoring the demand caused by the increase. There is no significant increase in demand since the release began.
Future Actions:
- Increase water supply
- Future Lot development (TBD)
- New Town house demand (43 Units = 61920 GPD)
- New little cabin demand (29 Cabins = 41760 GPD)
- Future water demand study
- It is important to predict future water needs since new water sources take time to develop
- Current Firm Capacity at 1X (538,560)
- Current Firm Capacity at 2X (1,077,120)
- The Board will need to consider continuing the meter release plan through 2025.
